Young Europeans

TO TALK WITH ONE ANOTHER IS NOT EASY – ESPECIALLY IN EUROPE, WHERE NEARLY EACH COUNTRY HAS ITS OWN LANGUAGE!

The Platon Youth Forum is aiming to bring young Europeans (aged 15-20 years) together to debate issues of European concern.

  • You are motivated to express your opinion?
  • You love to discuss your point of view?
  • You're curious about cultural diversity and values in Europe?
  • You have sufficient skills of online research?

Though dealing with the very challenging topics, we do not demand any previous knowledge. More important than your level of education are motivation and sensitivity.

What you can expect from the Platon Youth Forum

  • Interdisciplinary Exchange and Communication
  • International meeting of young experts of their own country
  • Comprehension of various argumentation styles due to different knowledge bases
  • Discussions about the question of value-free science
  • Possibility to participate at the creation of a joint European community of values and knowledge

Application

You can download the registration form in English, German and French here. Please send it to us until June 15th, 2012. We will inform you regarding acceptance of participation until June 30th, 2012.
